AnnaKate Rawles

Coordinator of Connect 4 Ministries

My name is AnnaKate Rawles and I was born in Atlanta, Georgia. I graduated from Boiling Springs High School in 2006 and began at Converse College that same year. Converse College is a small liberal women's college in Spartanburg South Carolina. I graduated from Converse with a BA in English Literature and Religion. Throughout my growing up years my mother was the children's minister at Bethel United Methodist in Spartanburg and from about the seventh grade I began working alongside of her teaching Sunday School and leading a small group for elementary school children on Wednesday nights. In high school I began as Director of the Spartanburg Methodist District Day Camp, a camp every summer for the children of the UMC district. IN college I worked as an intern at Bethel with the new children's minister and really fell in love with Children's ministry. I believe that the children are the future of Christianity and that emphasis should be on showing them the love of God as early as possible.

I am now a student at Emory's Candler School of Theology working on a master's of Divinity.
